U.S. Department Of Education, Impact Aid Grants System Award
Manassas, VA – July 11, 2020 – Zip Zap IT Solutions LLC (Zip Zap IT), a HUBZone certified, ISO 9001:2015 standard company, is looking forward to supporting the U.S. Department of Education (ED) their mission to promote student achievement and preparation for global competitiveness by fostering educational excellence and ensuring equal access. Zip Zap IT, a leading Enterprise IT Solutions provider to federal, state governments, and private sectors is looking forward to joining ED's values In achieving their mission.
The award supports the Impact Aid Program (IAP), a federal formula grant program administered by the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education (OESE). It is designed to ease the financial burden placed on the resources of local education agencies (LEAs) due to specific activities of the Federal Government. Because local schools usually are supported by property taxes collected from property owners in the local area, the ownership of property by the Federal Government reduces the amount of available local tax revenue. It may increase the number of children enrolled in the LEA. Impact Aid payments provide financial assistance to certain LEAs impacted by this financial burden.
Zip Zap IT Managing Director, Marwan Abu-Fadel, writes, "Our team is passionate about leveraging innovative technology to support our great nation. We are excited to have this great opportunity to continue supporting the Department of Education."
